Not impossible. My daughter has been drinking 8oz from an early age either 3 or 4 months. She also drank 4 oz the 3 days she was in the hospital and the nurses couldn’t believe it.

If it’s formula it’s normal the formula is thick and expands their stomach increasing their appetite.
