My daughter was about 9 months old, I️ kept a change of clothes in the car , but I️ just got a big purse and put a small pack of wipes and a diaper or two if I️ had to go some place. No need for a huge diaper bag when she doesn’t need half that crap anymore
It depends on your child, I guess, and how long you'll be out. If it's a quick run to the store you probably don't need it, but if you're going to be out for hours it's nice to have things on hand, and snacks if you have a picky eater.
Some days I just throw a cup, diapers, and wipes, in a purse and go, but that's only if we'll be gone an hour or so, and it's not meal or snack time. Some times I bring the bag and leave it in the car, too.
Honestly, I carried a bag until they were in pre school. I either kept it in the car or took a small bag with my purse. I hate carrying either but even as a toddler you can't be prepared enough. Pull-ups, extra underwear, snacks, juice, toy. I used mine a lot in church. Stuff I don't want crammed in my purse. But they were potty trained by 2 years old so I def cut back on the space by removing diapers.

We scaled down to a small messenger bag last month. Just enough room for a few diapers, change of clothes, a cup, and a few pouches and snacks.

Im still using a baby bag at 1 years old....wasnt sure if I still needed it
