Well, my daughters father should be receiving child support papers in the next few days , our court agreement says that as long as we don’t live together I️ can file for it so guess what? I️ filed for it. He doesn’t pay for anything for her for my home, which is okay, but I️ pay for day care, transportation to and from doctor visits (I️ have my own car but it’s a haul to get there and back), insurance, diapers, wipes, clothing ect. He always says he’s going to help but he never does so this is the only way I️ can get that help from him, it’ll only be used towards her needs , and I’ll use my own money for my own needs. I’m still stressing for the moment he opens his mailbox and sees it because I️ know I’ll get a big “fuck you” text...... oh well right?

@momma_unicorn, he pays like 350 for his truck payment, 480 for rent plus utilities, 100 for a tire payment, and like 100 for his tool payment. Like seriously? You had a baby before you got any of those bills, be smart and downsize , that’s what I️ did , I️ hate it because I’m at my parents for now but it’s Helping until I️ can get my feet back under me. Just tired of his excuses on why he can’t help

@momma_unicorn, he said that if I️ filed for it he would lose his truck and house, well guess what dude? I️ down sized to a small old car in order to save money and live with my parents right now to save money for our two kids, like I’m 22 years old with a toddler and a baby on the way with no help from their father basically, this is the only way .

Yup well its the right move. Because if you tried to apply for govt assistance they would make you try for child support anyway!

@kambam, we have a second baby on the way together so it’s not like I️ won’t need that financial support in order to buy a crib and clothing for the baby too

Good! He needs to help, and if a court order is the only thing that'll get him to follow through, that's what you gotta do.

If he gets mad that just makes him a shit father. He helped make the baby he can help out. Shouldn't be put all on you
