Is it normal to feel like your child isn't developed enough for their age? Don't get me wrong please, I know my daughter is smart & she is forming 3-4 word sentences, knows some shapes, can sometimes can count to 10 with help and seems like she is getting ready for potty training.. she does babble still though. It's just crazy because there are some 2 year olds I hear and they know there basic colors, and they can basically carry conversations on 😳 makes me feel like I might be doing something wrong. She turned 2 on the second. Maybe I'm just thinking too much. Any other Momma's going through this??

I think all kids develope at their own pace but she sounds like she's doing well! I wouldn't worry too much. Maybe ask her doctor at her next visit. Unless they say something i wouldn't worry💕

Everyone is different and develop differently. My oldest barely spoke when he was two, my youngest speaks very well at two. My oldest was potty trained in a week. I'm on my third attempt in six months with my youngest. Just be patient and give it time. If you don't see her picking up more in a couple of months, you might want to talk to her doctor. But enjoy the babbles for now. Trust me, you spend the first 2-3 years trying to get them to talk, and the next 15-16 years trying to get them to shut up 🙃

@hazelnautumnsmomma125, @momma_unicorn, @sassymom, thank you ladies! Yes, her Dad & I work with her all the time, we sing & show her ABC's a lot, do flash cards, tell her colors and shapes & count with her all day long. It's all about the catching on though. She'll get there ❤️

And most of the shows she watches are educational too. Though Peppa Pig is her FAVORITE. 🐷💗

I think your kid sounds well developed for her age. My daughter is 3 and can't count but she is learning colors and can speak in mostly coherent sentences like yours. Each child learns at their own pace sounds like your doing an amazing job with your kid.

I feel my daughter is a little delayed. She doesn't really talk. She mom and yay. I was trying to potty train her but she wasn't catching on so I am going to try again in January or when she turns two.
