So my bf wants to name our baby girl after another woman that he finds attractive. I think it's inappropriate. What do you all think?

I don't know your bf but if my husband said that he would mean it as a he thinks or hopes our daughter is going to be beautiful kind of way....I say if you love the name then use it but if you don't or you find one later that you fall head over heels then use that one. Ask him about it cause it's a pretty name, his intentions might be good. 😁
Nope. Not here. I would constantly be reminded of my husbands crush every time we said her name. He should want to name her after you, his love. Not some other woman. I can be petty sometimes but this is a NO. 🤷🏼♀️
My dad named my sister after one of his exes lol I was surprised my mom let that fly

Amaiya is a beautiful name, but if you don't know who she is or he won't explain, I'd be uncomfortable.

He's super adamant about naming the baby amaiya. I like the n9ne but he has mentioned several times how beautiful this woman is and i dont feel comfortable with it. Idk who she is.

I would definitely ask him for his reasoning? I agree with @muvamia if it's a celebrity or public figure (excluding instagram models lol) then maybe but issa no if it's someone that he knows personally.
