@mswedes, target has some fst that are really popular for stuffing diapers with. I rarely use anything more than the Lalabye inserts though. I don't try to reuse the shell much though. If you snap on top and change the diaper before the Microsuede gets wet, you can reuse the shells though! I did it on Friday!
@babybue16, I didn’t even think about receiving blankets! That’s so smart! I’ll have to hit up Walmart.
@mswedes, also keep in mind, if you have extra receiving blankets, you can fold those up and stuff diapers with them too if needed!
Yeah, I would just wait and see what you need. I would recommend getting a pail liner. I like the planetwise ones but haven't tried the Lalabye pail liners yet because they just came out with them somewhat recently! I don't know much about the liners because I haven't used those. I have another popular brand of disposable ones but rarely actually use them! I know a lot of mommas really like to just buy microfleece fabric or cheaper Walmart blanket and cut it to the size of an insert to use as a liner. Then you just wash them with the diaper or even throw away the really gross ones because it's inexpensive. I've been meaning to do it but liked the blanket I bought too much to cut it up! 😂😂😂
@babybue16, I got the grovia bioliners and I don’t even know the brand for the wet bag. I got a cheapie one to start. I’ll definitely keep an eye out for Black Friday/cyber Monday deals!! They’re out of stock on a lot of inserts on the website so I was either going to just pick up bamboo prefolds for extra support (but I wasn’t sure if I’d need them quite yet) or just wait it out.
@mswedes, Jack be nimble was my first love & Mulberry is my absolute favorite solid. It's always great to buy when you can find sales. They will likely have more for Black Friday and there's also a BST page on Facebook!
What liners and wetbags did you get? I always recommend getting a few things at a time to try out and see what you like before buying more. You may find there is something you dislike or would prefer.
@babybue16, awesome. Thank you! I started with one bundle and I figure I’ll buy more as I go.
& before wearing the first time, just wash once! It won't be fully absorbent for a few washes but it will still work!
@babybue16, how long do they typically take to ship out? I just placed my first order tonight and am beyond impatient!!!

My husband and I aren’t exactly strangers when it comes to relationship challenges 💞. We have been together for 14 years and married for eight, so we’ve definitely gone through some growing pains as we navigated a long-distance relationship in college and our first year living together as a married 👫 couple.
But nothing has challenged our relationship quite like our first year as 👪 parents .
Before you have your first child, you have these grand ideas of what it will be like. There’s more slee...
Locking your doors
We are having a discussion on one of my birth boards from my older kids about locking doors and security alarms. There are many of us (me included) who do not lock our doors at home (I actually don't even have a deadbolt on my house and we don't lock it when we leave either), and others who think that's totally weird. So what do you do? Do you lock your doors? Do you think it's weird that people don't?
@babybue16, I’m leaning towards snapping and reusing shells. I was thinking of putting a prefold/towel/insert between since my son is a heavy wetter.
