Planning on letting her wear the jacket until

we get to the car and take it off once the car is warmed and ready to get in the seat

I was just wondering how I was gonna go about the winter jacket because I won't be strapping him in the car seat with it on but also don't want him getting sick walking out to the car and getting out..might Just have to take it when I put him in and put it back on when I take him out ! Gonna be a hassle but oh well

@lovee.n, @isabellesmomma212, I had to take a car seat safety class while I was away and I learned about this. I’m sure if I didn’t take that class, I would never known about it.

I heat my car first and bring her blanket. Not taking any chances, as she’s precious cargo.

Better late then never. I'm sure a bunch of moms are gonna say they have their kids in winter coats all the time and never have had a problem. And it might be true but I rather be safe then sorry. Because the one time you think it will be okay, it won't be.

@isabellesmomma212, @kkmamax3, i’m just now seeing this i had my daughter in huge winter coats when she was born & im just now seeing this thankfully before the winter comes

I didn't at all last winter or when she was born after I read this article when I was pregnant with my daughter. I watched the video and was completely surprised that could happen these days. I now just make sure my daughter is in warm clothes and wrap her in a blanket while I carry her to the car then take the blanket off her, strap her in then tuck the blanket back around her so she stays warm.

I don’t! We hurry to the car, I bring their jacket along and when we out the car I put it on.
