@niyahsmama, he has triamcinolone for his eczema since it’s so bad but when I washed him and rubbed him down with that. It didn’t do nothing but get worse

My son has the same rash and bumps and the dr said eczema too! But I just dont know. Use coconut oil on it and I guarantee it will help and make it go away

@blessedmama09, I think his eczema flared up from Advil. Usually when he has mild allergy his eczema flares up but this was more serve.

I know Advil isn’t safe for everyone. I don’t think it’s recommended for babies. Tylenol is probably the best option.

@teresabura, he also get on his knees and feet. Where it’ll turn into bruises or look like he got burnt or his skin dehydrated

@skysmommy04, he has severe eczema where cause sores & bruises & reject hydrocortisone. It don’t sound like a lot, I’ve successfully got skin under control 4 times and kept it clear for weeks but every time he get sick it’s like new symptoms or everything go out of control 😫😩.

Sky has it in between her elbows I use hydrolatum and some hydrocortisone for the itch it heals fast and keeps her moisturized

Yes my cousins daughter had severe eczema looked like that her skin was raw cuts and bleeding skin torn it was really bad you need to moisturize and now even more that it’s cold 5-6 times a day sounds like a lot but it won’t heal other wise and the itching doesn’t help they scratch it

Looks like eczema to me allergic reactions are more like hives

@bethnimon, he has eczema since he was born. These rash is different it look like he was laid in bed of ants but there bigger then ant bumps. Either bumps blue or red or purple, he been scratching them open.

I just know it usually comes in a flavor for babies and kids. The last time I used baby Advil it said they used a natural grape flavor and whenever I get Motrin it says berry flavor. So that's the only thing I can figure. Cause they're both ibuprofen, just different brands. Also, idk about Advil brand but Motrin comes in regular(kinda pinkish) and dye free(clear). Either way, I hope it goes away quickly and your sweet boy feels better.

@cajunpeach89, it’s just regular Advil, he has no problem with taking medicine so we just infant Advil for him. They gave him Motrin at the hospital and he did just fine

He could be allergic to whatever Advil used for flavoring. Look at the ingredients and compare them to regular infant ibuprofen or motrin.
