Breastfeeding mommies!!!🍼🍼
Is it safe to start pumping my colostrum at 35 Weeks (almost 36) pregnant?
And also I am looking into buying my pump and some storage bags to get started with, what would you recommend for
-affordability
-efficacy
-comfort
-larger breasts
Thanks a million👌🏻💕💕🍼
No do not start pumping. Baby needs that milk when born and could induce labor. Also I like the medela ones and target brand
Ordered my freemie pump...so excited to be able to pump and care for my daughter at the same time & not have to stop pumping when she starts fussing 🍼☺️🙌
Should I let my x know when labor starts
So I read that nipple stimulation and pumping can help start labor.. If I pump colostrum will my milk come in? I don't wanna pump all the colostrum away before my baby gets here

My stash!! I'm super pumped
When can u start pumping
Agreed - wait until the baby comes! Baby needs the colostrum. Also, if your nipples hurt when you first start breastfeeding the colostrum is actually the best stuff to put on them. Better than lanolin. When your baby finishes nursing you just squeeze a little colostrum on them and it is like a liquid bandaid. As far as your pump goes - do you have insurance? If so your pump is covered - I can send you a site that makes it super easy to order. If not - are you looking for electric or manual? For electric I have the spectra, but I’ve heard medela is also good. The most important thing is to get the right size for your nipples. Bigger nipples need bigger breast shields. So make sure you check what size breast shield comes with it. If you get a manual pump, I recommend lansinoh - it’s very comfortable and affordable. As for storage bags - i got the babies r us brand ones. Super cheap and work really well. They have a double seal which I like.
