A robe! That was my best friend. I brought burp cloths because the hospitals were super cheesey. But other than that all of what neat neat said is good. Don't bring entertainment items unless you feel like they're necessary. We didn't use any of them except a laptop to watch Netflix and even then that didn't last long.
Comfortable Clothes for both you and the baby, nightwear, your birthing plan if you have one, a receiving blanket if your hospital doesn’t give you one, I would pack diapers just in case but I think the hospital supply those as well, I guess little mittens and hat, socks with grip for you, slippers with grips as well, your hygiene items,

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
I packed a few newborn onesies. Most hospitals will provide you with diapers and wipes and those sorts of things for your baby. A robe for yourself is always a good idea and to have comfortable shirts and some shorts or pajama bottoms. I would also bring some shampoo and a hair brush, perhaps a blow dryer. Deodorant and a toothbrush. And maybe a laptop to watch movies on just in case your hospital doesn’t have much to choose from to watch on the tv. You don’t want to get bored if you’re in labor for a while! 😉
