I hated the nexplanon. I would bleed for like a month straight every other month, had low sex drive, crazy mood swings, migraines. It's unhealthy to not have a period also.

@rikki.ferguson ok so no nexplanon. I would do every other month or something like that. But I had nuvaring for years and loved it. I asked my doc about when I got and she told me it was ok to do it that way.

Any birth control that makes you not have your period isn't good for your fertility in the future.

@myranda.r.cole well depo can take up to a year intil you get fertile again and have regular periods . And its tricks your body into rhinking its prwgnant so you dont bleed. But you can,bleed alot on it too. The iud is good

@jskidsmom hmm. I guess I'll have to ask the doc when I go see him whay he suggest. A less painful period would be perfferd. Skipping makes me nervous now just because I didn't have one for so long then got off it then like 3 or 4 months later got pergnet with my son and didn't even have a period in between the time I got off it and getting pergnet.

My cousin has one that goes in her arm under the skin. I can't remember what it's called tho.
