Anyone have experience with busses in Brooklyn? My daughters bus stop is currently a 15 min walk from where we live. It's an okay walk now, but during the winter /snow I'll be a bit further in my pregnancy and by May I'll have a newborn. Is there anyway I could request a bus stop closer to home? I see kids getting picked up right in front of their home and I'm just curious.

@mommiesaremagical14 no I didn't know if this was a thing that could be done or not. My daughter told me the bus passes our building on the way to school. I don't see why it would be such a big deal but idk if it's something that can be requested or not. We have to be out the door at 6:20am the latest to be sure not to miss it😖

Have you tried calling the school and explaining your situation and asking for the possibility of an alternative? Tell them it's going to be to much for you 1, due to winter coming 2, your pregnant and 3, soon you'll have a newborn on top of it.

Sorry I been ignoring yall but I have been so miserable the past days I'M STILL PREGNANT my contractions would be strong for hours and it looked like I was gonna have a baby then everything just stopped so I got sent home. they said I have to wait till my appointment Wednesday so I can talk to my doctor about the next step. I HATE THIS 😢😢😩
Hello from my bus stop ?
I need to rant a lot today. I'm just so irritated, hurt, and confused. I need some advice. My husband won't talk to me because I don't walk our 6 year old to the bus stop thats 20 seconds away. We have two younger kids that would take 15 minutes to get ready to take them with me so I would have to leave them in the apartment but then our 3 year old would open the door and mess around and could possibly get hurt or someone could go into the apartment. But my oldest could get hit by a car if he forgets to look both ways if I don't walk him to the bus. So what am I supposed to do? I cant be in two places at once. I watch my oldest go to the bus stop/ get on the bus. He understands better than our 3 year old. Hubby thinks I don't care about him because I don't walk with him. I don't have any idea what to do except maybe take him to school but thats 30 minutes there and 30 minutes back. Hubby doesn't want to be wasting gas when there is a bus. Like wtf?
3 cm dilated gonna have me walk around for a few hours to see if i progress or loose more fluid then go from there. If i don't dilate more I'll be going home.
Looks like I'll be able to have a home birth after all! Fingers crossed that the midwives and their insurance accepts me!! And now to find my own home! Lord I beg for your favor!!
