Is epsom salt safe for tears?

@dalliesmama everyone tells you not to take baths but my doctor said it was fine to take warm baths with episom salt to help the healing process

I don't think you should get salt in your eyes because salt is an irritant. Think of how it would feel to open your eyes in the ocean.
