Extremely annoyed. Had my 22 week check up today. Waiting for an hour before i even saw the doctor. Then she tells me the claritin i’ve been taking isn’t allowed. Every doctor i see tells me different things. I can take regular claritin but not claritin D? If there’s two kinds, and one isn’t good for the baby, shouldn’t that be specified?! The sudafed that’s in the Claritin D is what’s bad for me...but so many doctors told me i can take sudafed. I’m PISSED. What do you ladies take for nasal congestion? I can’t sleep when I can’t breathe and Claritin D is all that works for me.

I know I was told by someone sudafed was okay then someone said it was bad. I guess I’m glad I only took 3 or 4 pills. Never again

I took Claritin D, my doctor never said anything bad about it plus it was the only thing that helped with my allergies, I took it multiple times and my son is still perfectly fine.

@haley.mclean, i’ve had multiple doctors tell me sudafed is okay. and then one doctor today said it’s not. i’m so confused and so annoyed

@haley.mclean, yep. sudafed didn’t do anything for me either. Claritin D is all that works. which is why i’m pissed. if there’s two different types of claritin and one is bad for the baby, why wouldn’t the doctor specify that?
