So I’m wanting to get off the pill because I keep forgetting to take it. I’ve been on the depo before and I feel like I wasn’t able to loose weight on it. I’m thinking about either getting the implant or the iud. What has everyone used on here and what have been your side effects if you’ve had either one.

In the almost 4 years I had it I gained 13 lbs. I’ve seen people gain 30 lbs + in a few months.
I tried the implant. The thought of an iud in my vagina totally scares me. My first implant was great. No periods for 3 years. I switched it out in 12/2016 and well everything went down hill. I got irregular bleeding so I started to take pills just to regulate it. But then I started getting terrible headaches and ended up getting it removed and just been on the pill.

Yeah, I despised it, but was forced to be on it for 5 years. It was my first experience with birth control and it makes me want to avoid all birth controls. I really don't need to have another baby anytime soon though so Idk what I'm gonna do honestly...
I had the implant and it was impossible to lose weight, my periods became super irregular, my emotions were all over the place, and my arm would randomly hurt really bad around the site of the implant.
I’m sorry but I’m still not circumcising my son 🤷🏽♀️ and I don’t care what anyone has to say about it either cause it’s not right to me. That’s their decision to make.
I have a low tolerance of pain so I’m screwed either way 😂 but I am going to get through a natural birth no matter what!
Quick question: Are the contractions or pushing the most painful?
I’ve felt contractions with my first and omg. But I didn’t experience the pushing. He was way to tiny.
What do you keep your thermostat on?
It’s summer I get that but it’s been mild with all this rain so I’ve had it at 74. My husband doesn’t agree with me. So I’m curious what is normal I guess.
I know I've posted this before but when your water was leaking did it stay leaking or just with movements or what? Did you get contractions shortly after or no? I rolled out of bed and felt warmth leak out but Idk if it was possibly urine or what...never had it happen. It didn't smell like anything really...I know I should either call l&d or go in but I just want some experiences please. I want to wait a bit just in case it's nothing.

That would be me lol I gained 45 pounds in 3 months and no matter what I did, I could not lose the weight. Then as soon as I got it out the weight started dropping and I wasn't even trying. I hated it. Lol
