@sumaya.wahed, it all depends how baby is lying The lady Today told me to look away three times unless it was showing it’s face or back to me cause I don’t want anything to spoil it xxxx

@sara-lou86, I got told to look away at my twenty week scan too and ones I had before that as I was clear from the start I didn’t want to know x

I've heard so many different things from different people don't know who to believe. We wanted to know the gender so at our 20 week scan our sonographer had a look and said girl at first but then my husband noticed something probed her again to be sure and she said it was a boy. I was bit disheartened as I wanted to be sure. Thought well I can be sure at the 35 week scan but then she turned around and said it's harder to tell later on. So annoyed think we have do a private scan but then they could be wrong too 🙈

Funny how they say different things. I clearly saw Max's at his 20week scan when they were looking for it themselves. But both times was told 30+weeks their so big it's harder to find those kind of things. I had scans for both boys at 35, 36 and 38weeks. Could only see their head and back lol

I doubt you'd be able to tell the sex via the scan. The bigger they are the harder it is even for those who know what their looking for. I had a few extra scans for a few different things. It'll give you peace of mind after once you've seen them.

I had growth scan to check fluid after I saw a different midwife and she thought I had too much fluid but turned out to be fine x
