4 weeks and 1 day left until my c-section.
I am terrified. So much still needs to be done, and I'm so stressed, I'm just on the verge of tears. When I get stressed like this, I just shut down and can't even function 😣
@scottiesmommy I think my first doctor stitched me up too tight, and I ripped the muscle around the stitches when I a walked. That's what made me sick.
Ooh and I had my second c-section that went well. I feel I was a little more sore than the first and the healing process also longer, but it may be because I had the tubal ligation done during this c-section.
@mommyofthreeboys. I'm not quite as stressed about the actual c-section this time as I was last time. I just don't feel ready for this baby to be here 😔
@jennatess it all just feels too overwhelming 😕
This will be my 3rd. My 1st c-section was emergency, after already being on the epidural long enough to build up a tolerance, so they had to put me under.
My 2nd c-section was planned, and was way more pleasant. The recovery was mostly much easier, though I had really bad migraines for a few days after.
The best advice I could possibly give, do NOT leave the hospital until you feel totally ready. I left before I was ready with my first, and the stress on my body left me physically ill for nearly a week.
Try to relax and do whatever can be done without over working yourself. I started a few projects before my c-section and ended up leaving them half way because I had an emergency c-section at 38 weeks due to high blood pressure. Is not worth stressing. Make sure you pack well for the hospital and relax a little. Everything will fall into place, you’ll see 😉
I'm the same way under pressure. I get lazy af. I hate that about myself!
Is this your second or third c-section? I always wonder how a repeat feels...
