So after 16 months we're getting ready to transition my daughter into her own room. How do we even begin this process ?!…

Please tag me when someone gives advice. Especially from someone that’s done it before and worked!

We live with my boyfriends parents and they're building her a room because of our new baby being here and she's actually down the hall and everything from us. I'm scared for it lol !! @birdknees79,

@t143, mine was about 12 months maybe 14? And I was like ugh I just have to get her out of my bed out of my room. I would rock her to sleep and just lay her in her crib. When she would wake up I would go in there and rub her back and pat her butt until she fell back asleep. I would never pick her up. It took a couple weeks. But it worked.

We had our daughter in our room til 8 months old. Her room is on the other side of the house. We used her pack and play to move her towards her room. A few nights in the kitchen then one in the pack and play in her room then into her crib. She's just about 1 years old and she sleeps 10.5-12 hours a night in her crib no issues.
