We had our daughter in our room til 8 months old. Her room is on the other side of the house. We used her pack and play to move her towards her room. A few nights in the kitchen then one in the pack and play in her room then into her crib. She's just about 1 years old and she sleeps 10.5-12 hours a night in her crib no issues.

@t143, mine was about 12 months maybe 14? And I was like ugh I just have to get her out of my bed out of my room. I would rock her to sleep and just lay her in her crib. When she would wake up I would go in there and rub her back and pat her butt until she fell back asleep. I would never pick her up. It took a couple weeks. But it worked.
