Do Schools Offer Free Sports Programs for Kids?

Moms I’ve been asking this question to myself . Do the kids at school get to choose a sport?

My daughter loves basketball but I don’t have the money to pay for clases. At what age do they get to choose a sport from school or those kids that do sports at school they pay for it or what ? I’m not very informed about that. My daughter is in 3rd grade and everyone on her class is doing sports and she says that she wants to join but I don’t know if that comes from school or just the parents pay for it. Anyone knows?

I agree with the ladies above. If you have some free time go visit the school and talk to the principal about it they’ll point you to the right direction

Middle school it is free at most schools to play football or basketball through the school. Not all schools have sports teams for many reasons c

Transgender children So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are your thoughts on the matter? Do u think the parents are behind this? Idk because I haven't met the parents or children. I just think at 5 it's very young for children to really understand. What do u ladies think?
