Hey ladies, I need suggestions on convertible car seats. My 10 month old is way too big for her infant car seat.

@nomli, I ended up buying the 4ever. It fit great in my car and still there is leg room up front. My husband bought the extend2fit 3 in 1 and he loves it! She looks comfortable in both of them. I can’t complain. Really good car seats.

I wish we had tested different seats in the car before we got one. The 4ever fits, but only behind the passenger seat because the driver seat has to be pushed too far up for it to work.

That’s what I’m thinking. It won’t fit in my car and I don’t think I will change my car for the next two years.

We didn't get extend2fit because, well, I didn't even know it existed, but the extended part wouldn't have fit in our car anyway.

@nomli, thanks for the suggestion. I just needed more reaffirmation on the car seat. I saw the reviews and they are good. I just need to find the one without the extend2fit which is the regular one.

I don't think it's any heavier than most seats. We don't really move it though, so it doesn't matter the weight. I'd almost rather a heavy seat that has more protection than a lighter one that may not keep him safe, anyway.

We have the Graco 4ever and the Graco Contender. I love the 4ever. The Contender is annoying but it's our spare. My friend had the Diono Radian and love it, but I hear they have a recall.

Go to the baby store and ask if you can test seats in your car. They may let you, so you can see what fits best. We switched him over to a convertible carseat at about 5 months. He was getting to heavy for me to carry in the infant seat.

@kedrababy, I was looking at the graco4ever but, the extend2fit won’t convince me because I got a small car.

Mine tooo. And it says up to 30 pounds ;which she’s not; but she’s too long for it
