**Sorry for the length..sorry if someone gets mad but oh well I'm venting anyway**Omg I've never been so mad at another parent in my life! I'm a girl scout co-leader. We have had issues with one child since last year and it has been addressed MANY times. Enough times that she was going to get kicked out but being the bleeding heart people we are we made a behavior contract instead and she straightened up a bit. Well tonight she was awful. after cutting in line and I told her to go to the back for cutting and not listening when she was addressed (politely the first time)she looked me in the face and said no.. so I got a little short with her and said NOW...well her mother came in and ripped me apart. I appologized (even though I feel I was slightly harsh because I was frustrated but I shouldn't have to deal with such disrespect from a CHILD so I'm not all that sorry) and she just wouldn't stop running her mouth and getting ruder and louder by the second(in front of a ton of people including children)....I was the bigger person and ended up walking away after some words were exchanged(I'm going to defend myself). I couldnt believe the things she was saying after I had already admitted I was harsh and appologized for my actions and I was now PISSED . She just wouldnt stop. I hate having to deal with other peoples misbehaved children. Her husband said it from the beginning when he dropped her off. He said and I quote "I hope you can do something with her cuz we can't " like what is this, charm school???? NO! I'm so over it. I don't want to be doing girl scouts anymore but I can't abandon my friend(the leader, who's also pregnant) and my daughter over some high school drama bullshit. But ugh!!!!

Good old fashioned whoopin' is what that child needs for being disrespectful to another adult especially when that adult was trying to teach that child that cutting in line is not fair to the other children in line. She needs to know right from wrong and her mother should of backed you up instead of throwing a fit, it's not like you didn't do anything that a teacher wouldn't do if a child was being disrespectful in class, teachers yell at students all the time for not listening and being disrespectful especially in high school.

This is why children these days are just terrible. There parents let them get away with everything. Just wait until she starts hitting them and cursing them out. Then they’re gonna be whining and wondering how she got that way.

This is why my child is NOT in Girl Scouts. Not because of how you behaved, because I’m behind you a hundred percent but because my child is a spoiled brat. And she would throw a tantrum. Though I deal with her at home, I am not allowing her into any group things where she would be disrespectful. Difference between me and that mom, my child would have gotten an ass whooping and would have apologized to you and all the kids who had to watch her be silly.
