36 weeks and 4 days check up went great! 3cm dilated and thinned out. Baby is in position just waiting on contractions to get regular. The hospital sent me home which I don't agree with. But every state and hospital is different. Just ready to hold my baby boy!

@orionsmomma hospitals like that are like forcing a female to go all natural (without pain medication; epidural) that's why I don't agree with it. Yes, I've wanted to do all natural but by choice, not force. And my 2nd baby came a lot quicker than my 1st and my doctor back in my home town who delivered them both told me it'll only go quicker and smoother. I didn't even push with my 2nd, I let my contractions push her out. I'm luckily only 5 minutes away from the hospital I'll be delivering at, but I don't know if I'll still make it because once I reached 4cm with my first 2 I was 10cm within an hour-2 hours later ready to push.

Oh yeah. Over here where I’m at they won’t keep you unless you’re 5 cm and contractions less than 5 minutes apart. 🙄

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital?

Is it rude to not want anyone at the hospital? I was just informed that my MIL wants to be waiting at the hospital so as soon as I pop out the baby she can rush in to be with the baby. I am really a private person and dont really want anyone at the hospital when I give birth (except my husband). I was planning on calling all the family to come to the hospital once I was all cleaned up and ready for visitors. Am I being rude? How do I tell them I dont want visitors a minute after pushing out a baby?! I would like some private time for just my husband & I!
