Question!? Has anyone on here had endometriosis? If so I have a question, I had surgery a little over two weeks ago on October 11 to remove my endometriosis well I woke up last night in horrible pain, a sharp stabbing pain in the right side of my lower stomach and cramping like I was on my period, I finally got back to sleep but I woke up again this morning with the same pain, has anyone else experienced something like this I feel I am already completely healed from the surgery and I was cleared by my doctor a few days ago to go one with normal activities.

I have endo and had the surgery. I didn't have any sharp pains after until I had my period. I would get it checked out just to be safe(:

That's good! I found out I had it after I had my youngest son, and I'm done having babies lol so hopefully the surgery keeps it away @tattooed_mama,

@krider_randi no, no complications. I was in the begining stages of it and ovulating hurt like a bitch, as well as period and all that crap. I was scheduled to get to procedure done to get it removed, but I ended up getting pregnant. But it's gone now, I'm told pregnancy can stop it in its tracks in some cases and it's gone.

@krider_randi but I really hope it's nothing serious! Wish I could give better advice.

@krider_randi I really suggest being safe than sorry. But ovulating could be it too! Ovulation is quite uncomfortable for me, and maybe with the procedure you are ovulating for the first time in a while?

Could be ovulating. I was diagnosed with endo 7 years ago.

@krider_randi I personally don't have endo but I have had my appendix out. And I was having problems for weeks and they just kept brushing it off. Then one night I felt how you were describing and the next minute the pain was completely gone so I went to sleep. I woke up 4 hours later with the same pain just not as intense and felt really off, I went to the ER and my appendix ruptured. They said if I wouldn't have came in I could have died.

It could be but I've had my appendix checked several times because that's what they thought was causing my pain in the first place before we found out I had endometriosis and my appendix was fine so I'm not sure @mami3st2011,

@krider_randi could it possibly be your appendix and not endometriosis related?
