Toys r us Christmas catalog came today it's pretty exciting since Luke was only 3m last year but omg these toys are ridiculous. No good old fashion toys in that book. I can't imagine having a house full of kiddos and being Santa and parents.

Really,? That is so cute! You're right handmade is the best. We honestly aren't big toy ppl. Would rather be outside gardening, playing. My boy loves books so we get lots of interactive books.
@kambam, ur right I think it's bc labor in America is so much more expensive. Have u seen those handmade busy tables my husband wants to make one they are so neat. It's silly to spend big bucks when they won't remember. Imagine if we all made our kids handmade recycled stuff that would b awesome and there would b more grateful kids in the world my son is not old enough yet to understand being grateful but I sure don't want him to b a brat someday
I don't like china either but sadly most things will be coming from there. I will check out btoys! America made products are sometimes even more expensive like how does that work?? 😓😓
@purpledpink, Amazon is so much cheaper on a lot of things. Also better to not get out the house and fight the crowds or weather

@txyogagirl, yeah, they filed bankruptcy. Supposedly the news says they will be closing after the holiday season! You would think that, but places like Amazon are knocking out these brick and mortars.
@kambam, I like Melissa and Doug but did u know they r made in China kinda crazy bc they pride theirselves on craftsmanship. I'm not one of these no china stuff people however I do like to look and try my best to choose elsewhere. Have u seen Btoys they are similar they r at target some r made in China too but I like the quality

@kambam, my son has quite a few of their chunky puzzles we like them I didn't see any in the ad and the ones he had I got them from Christian books online or they were gift. Some of these toys r crazy expensive @purpledpink, really I haven't heard that but I honestly don't shop there often. Where did u hear that news seems like that would have plenty of money .

Outrageous!
A 5 year old was detained and questioned at his school for taking a toy gun to show his friend. He was so scared he wet his pants and his parents weren't notified until 2 hours into the questioning. He was suspended for 10 days, but it was reduced to the 3 days he had already served after the parents and others complained. The school stated that the situation was handled appropriately and would be handled in a similar manner in the future.
Idk if this is a little to harsh but my stepson is 2 and 7 months now the time outs are not working so I stepped it up a little and decided to take all toys away and tv away for whatever he has left of the day till bed time. Gets it taken for hitting us or throwing toys or kicking... He kicked me right in the mouth last night so he didn't get his toys till after nap and no cartoons and thats around 4pm is this to much??
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. Rant!
My sitter used cottonelle wet wipes on my baby! Now she has huge rash!!! I totally get that my SO forgot to put the wipes in her diaper bag. But she could have told one of us and we could have brought her some or she could have went to the store and I could pay her back. I don't get it. She buys her clothes and toys, takes her places while I'm at work. The store is literally a 5 minute walk from her house. But she decided cottonelle wipes are ok? Ugh. Rant over.
