My son has to see a pediatric Gastroenterologist for his puking and pooping issues. My poor baby, I feel so bad for him especially with his pooping. I hope the appointment is sometime this year and I also hope the weather holds up as we will have to travel about an hour as there are none where I live. 😕 also he has a wheat allergy which he seems to be fine when eating wheat but she said maybe it could be affecting him in another way with his bowels or making him puke so have to minimize that from his diet too.
@mommieof2babies, I had to throw away a ton of stuff too or donate what hasn't been opened. But yes we will be pros in no time.. Unfortunately but then we will be more helpful to others in our shoes. I'm hoping they grow out of it but at least this way they are eating healthier than normal for the most part.
Exactly it's hard because some say if it contains and some like you say you have to really look. I had to throw vinnys puff cereals away because it contains wheat. All the stuff he likes contains wheat so it's hard but we can get through this for our babies. We got this. We will be pros at this before we know it
@mommieof2babies, yeah it's tough I spent forever in the grocery store today checking labels on everything. Thankfully a lot of labels will just say it contains wheat or if it's gluten free but there are some that don't and you have to really look at ingredients. It's hard and were new to it. So it's not like we know what has what in it. Before long we will though lol.
@missjess yea jar baby food really does make it easier a little bit. Hopefully he knows what you guys are going through and especially and want to help in every way possible see I'm puerto rican Irish && Italian so I cook with alot of milk and stuff so I'm gonna substitute those stuff i cook with either soy or almond milk. Since we going through the almost same thing a can help each other out. It just sucks && is really sad
@mommieof2babies, that's my biggest concern is he's going to keep feeding him whatever he wants :( but I'm hoping switching will make a difference and I'll just have to really get on his case about gluten free everything! I went through all his things today and got him some new gluten free stuff. Thankfully he's still at the age where he still eats some jar baby food! Makes it a little easier for the moment at least.
@missjess yea I know what your going through it sucks big time I feel like that way also about poisoning I felt so bad but I think that there so young and when they get older they won't know the difference. But keep my posted all we can do is be there for our babies. Hopefully your son's father helps out with this too
@missjess, I'll help as much as I can. It's complicated till you learn completely. Plus it'll be easier once you find out if it's Celiac or an intolerance.
We don't eat out often but his dad does! I feel he thinks I'm annoying but I'm trying to be helpful in relaying stuff to him 🙄 but as for me usually he eats mostly fruits and vegetables. But the puffs I give him and gold fish and cereal have wheat 😶 it's hard some lists I've found list some stuff or say some stuff is fine and others say it's not. I'm just really going to have to read labels even though some stuff idk what it is. @morganmommy79,
@missjess, it's difficult at first but worth the change. It's really hard eating out tho. Mcds fries is a big controversy but they do have wheat in the oil they're fried in.
I have a delicious gf chocolate cake recipe somewhere I could find for you. It's made from scratch and way better than a boxed version.
@morganmommy79, cause I had never given him any bread or anything before that. His dad took him to Popeyes and gave him a biscuit he says he noticed something not long after but didn't think anything of it he came home 2 hours later like those pictures I was like wth is going on I had to take him to the ER! His dad is a nitwit. But yeah he's been having digestive issues for a long time I breastfed and ate wheat he had bad colic I've been feeding him whole wheat toasts and whole wheat birthday cake, his puffs and cereal everything I didn't know. :( and all this time we've been poisoning him. No wonder he can't poo and pukes and has trouble sleeping. Feel awful. I'm going to the grocery store tomorrow. And go through everything here that he eats to see if it has wheat. He mostly ears fruits/veggies and rice or little shreds of chicken
How did you narrow it down to the biscuit?
Digestive is a sure thing of gluten intolerance/celiac.
Celiac can stunt growth too. I know several with it and I lived that way for a long time. :/
@missjess, I had celiac and reacted to gluten in several ways. Once I got pregnant it left. That's happened to several women actually. I felt so much better gluten free but it's hard at first and takes getting used to. If he's celiac tho it's much more complicated. May I ask what his reaction was?
@mommieof2babies, it's awful! I feel terrible for my son. We've been poisoning him all this time and we didn't even know it! I'm
Cutting it out completely j really hope his dad does too. I'm worried about him not 🙁
@missjess miralax didn't really help Vinny. That's when they took the allergy test and gave him senna to take. These allergies in our babies sick. It sucks hopefully they can really help him and you out I had to go to probably two appts at the gastrologist before they took the test. Wheat sucks
@mommieof2babies, I give him miralax and have upped his fiber intake. The upping in fiber has helped. But he's been puking a lot lately and I just found out Monday he has a wheat allergy.
@missjess We just found out not to long ago. But since then I cut out baby oatmeal they gonna switch his formula again to neocate. He been doing good they also gave him some kind of medicine to take to go, it's called senna. It helps him somewhat
@morganmommy79, really?! Well he had a bad reaction to a biscuit his dad gave him from Popeyes. So he was sent to an allergist and they tested his blood I just found out Monday.
@mommieof2babies, I will thank you! How is your son now that you've cut out these things??
@believeinbuddha, thank you! I'm looking into some stuff now and relating it back to his dad.
Wheat allergies will make you puke and poop or constipate you. How did u find out about his allergy?
@missjess I'm so sorry hun prayers. My son sees one also for his constipation and not being able to poop. My son has 3 allergies to milk eggs wheat. Hopefully your son doesn't have it. Keep us posted hun
My aunt and uncle are gluten free they love it.

Here's a link so you can read more. Some people just can't handle gluten unfortunately.
Actually, now that I think about it, the pediatric urologist only took a month to be seen.
@nomli, I figured it'd probably take some time :/ until then I'll try and do the best on my end
@believeinbuddha, omg! Now I feel bad for letting him eat it. I thought it was better for him. I just found out Monday though that he had an allergy to it.
Poor baby. Pediatric specialists are usually super nice, but sometimes it's tough getting in to see one.
Gluten free is actually very good for kids and their developing digestive system. The proteins in wheat are gut irritants: they're like a papercut or splinter digging into the lining of your stomach, causing an inflammatory response. ✌
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...
Starting TWW. Anyone else?
I had a stillborn daughter at 38 weeks this passed Nov. This is my second month ttc. (Last month we only tried for like two weeks though). My last and only pregnancy, I got pregnant the first month of ttc so I hope it's quick this time again.

A Statement from Mom.Life:
Hey everyone!
Last night, a new user began messaging our moms asking for private pictures of toddlers and young children. This is obviously unacceptable behavior, and the account was banned immediately. Although thankfully extremely rare on Mom.Life, several users were understandably upset by this, so we wanted to clarify a few things:
First off, Mom.Life has an absolute zero tolerance policy for child abuse and those who would prey on children. We strive to ...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

so yes ima go hard in the comments bec...
Very true. I know some one who's baby grew out if it but he got so used to not having milk that it's really didn't matter. I think they should grow out of it when they get older hopefully. At least they will be careful what they eat in the future and be more healthier like you said
