There is a pile of clothes that need to be washed and a pile that needs folding. But instead, I chose to hold you. The floors need to be mopped and the rugs vacuumed. But instead, I chose to hold you. The counters need to be wiped down and furniture dusted. But instead, I chose to hold you. There is always going to be laundry, dirty floors and dishes. But there will be a day where you will no longer want to be rocked to sleep. There will come a day that you will no longer fit perfectly on my chest. So today I choose to cherish this time and simply hold you ❤️
