When will it be best to start taking baby on walks???
@raquely, @kreese88, @stevie.savoie22, @simmiebaby, thank yall i will take everything everybody said into consideration
I took mine out at about a few days old. They need sun, especially if they are a little jaundiced on discharge. Just dress appropriately
We started taking walks after a few days. They need the sun and you need the Exercise. We walk 2 miles at the very least every day.
It’s also almost flu season! You might wanna wait a few weeks to a month to take baby to store, the elderly get the flu as and as kids and babies immune system won’t be as good yet!
@bhtslove, ill start with a week then. @kreese88, that how it will be with me as well lol and i will make sure he's dress warm as well. The walks will start off small to like the store thats a street over or something
My boys were a little over a week when we started taking them for walks, then the store. We just made sure they were warm (born in fall) and made sure no strangers touched them in the store. (Yeah I’m a germaphobe)
@raquely Actually, yes a week is when you should or can take them outside for the first time. That being just outside. Not indoors or to stores with large crowds. For that, 2 to 3 months is accurate. My pedi said 8 weeks if possible.
