I feel like a bad mom. I put my LO in the crib in her own room for the first time and just came to…

We put our in her crib at 4 months. If I would have had my way, it would have been sooner. Now she won't stay in her bed all night.

@mississippi.mama well normally mine sleeps all night long so that's not a problem. The only reason she didn't sleep last night was because Daddy came home from his military training and she was to exited and didn't want to sleep. So like a idiot I let her sleep a lot today and so she was wide awake. Plus she normally sleeps in the bassinet which is in our room next to our bed, but I noticed that she's getting a little to big for it and when she rolls in her sleep she hits the wall and wakes up crying. So I went to put her in the crib in her room. But I couldn't really hear her from my room since she's 2 rooms away from ours. That and it scares me because if something happens to her I wouldn't know because we don't have a baby monitor. No one ever got us one and we never got one because we thought someone would but then we moved to the other side of the state and totally forgot to get one till I thought of it as I was putting her in the crib 30 minutes ago.

@kaytibug2009 They make some really cheap ones that work well. I used ours when my daughter was little tiny and not very loud. Your instincts kick in if she's crying, you will hear her if your door is left open and hers as well.

@mississippi.mama we have one already, but it's put up in her room. And my instincts kick in with no problem if she cries. I'm worried mainly about if she doesn't cry. She likes to hold her blanket and sometimes puts it over her face. So normally the dog will know and wake me up and I'll fix it. But if she's in her crib then the dog won't be able to tell and I won't hear her breath or gasp for breath if she does and I could loose her and I'm still dealing with losing our son in the womb. I can't handle losing her.

I couldn't handle it and my options were sleep on the mat in her room or bring her back to our bed... So she's now curled up with me and Daddy sound asleep. Now I feel so much better! 😥

If you’re that worried to let her sleep alone, then you should probably just let her sleep with you, you’ll sleep better.

@sabreycastro1996 yeah I went and got her and put her in our bed. I'm going to have to move her crib into our room or I won't be able to sleep at night.

Having my daughter in my room was beginning to be a problem so even though I have a baby monitor I put her cradle in the living room against the wall to our bedroom. Our door stays partly open. And now everyone sleeps a lot better including my little one. I think she likes it better cause her daddy and I would wake her up on accident rolling over getting up to use the bathroom. Ect.
