So, I thought children weren’t allowed to be in a room while someone is in labor & giving birth ? My mom
Thinks she’s going to have my 2 and 4 year old in the room with me. I don’t need them in there, they’re just going to wreck my nerves. In the beginning when I was having a home birth she was just going to take them and watch them now she wants to “watch” them at the hospital, like what sense does that make. Tomorrow is supposed to be my day. 🙃 it's bad enough I already don't get breaks from my kids and you want to bring them to my labor and delivery too 🤦🏽♀️
It is totally your decision don't let you mom choose for you. Tell her how ts going to be.
But I do know some hospitals do allow children. My daughter was in the delivery room with me at 4 years old.
@beebaby, see both their tablets have broke within the last week 😑 they aren’t about to sit down for nothing. But I just hope whatever happens I’m not stressed out and they aren’t either from being cooped up
The pain was tolerable until the last 30 minutes. They were sitting down on there tablets and I was close to snatching the siderail off the bed. lol. Once they checked me the last time and the head was coming they went outside with a relative and hub stayed for me to push the baby out.
@beebaby, I know my kids aren’t going to act right that’s why I’m just like hell no 😩
Kids are allowed some times yeah.
