2 checkups in a row now.. blood pressure is too high. Dr. Set a date to be induced if I don't go into labor on my own first. NOV. 13th. Has anyone ever been induced? Is it worse then just going into labor?!?
They told me that the pain is worst i had to be induced and the contractions killed me lol so i ended up having a c section
lol good! Cause I was totally set on a natural delivery or at least holding off on the epidural for as long as possible but that didn't happen and I have no regrets 😅 no lingering back pain either 🙃
Knowing the date was awesome, it helped me feel better prepared for my son's arrival. How long it will take fully depends on your body honestly. My SIL was induced and she didn't handle it well at all! She screamed the exorcist and basically scared the hell out of me 😅 but it didn't effect me like the way it did her. Just remember to breathe through the contractions, don't suck your breath in and scream because it will work against the contraction and make the baby stay in its place. Your body needs to be able to relax and go with the flow of it. I strongly suggest being open to the epidural, it made labor way easier on me
I'm wondering if it will be longer process or be more painfull.. I do like knowing a date.. not just walking around and Bam!! Lol
I was induced at 38 weeks with my son last November. It wasn't as bad as I was hearing and it went relatively very smoothly. Took me 15 hours of pitocin to fully dilate but I got the epidural 6 hours in so I was resting for most of the more painful contractions
I was induced with my son at 41 weeks. It took me 23 hrs of labor. I dont have anything to compare it to because he is my first child. But it took me a long time to dilate. They used cervadil which is a medicine they put on my cervix.
Yesterday I went out with my boyfriend went to watch a movie, me and him don't live together yet. but point is yesterday when he was dropping me off his like sleep over at my house witch the mom and dad lives. I said no,
his response was why is everyone deciding or making choices for you and their going to do the same with the baby, when I know that's not true. what he thinks is that my mom tells me not to sleep over. So he left all mad. and I felt in my heart that he went on and cheated on me...

Transgender children
So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls. They are 5 years old. What's your opinions on this matter given they are 5!!! I don't believe that at that age they really understand the whole thing. So the entire school had to take a course on how to handle transgender children. For example they can't say girls go this or boys do that. What are...
the amount of women who are clueless about their own anatomy is so sad and shocking. a lot of the women are older than me and have more children then I do 😳
now I understand that everyone has their own opinion on the topic and grown adults can do whatever they want with their bodies but to deny facts and make up false statements about your own anatomy when it comes to your unborn child is just so disappointing.

I’d say since it’s your first it’s gonna take awhile either way! My first was 19 hours and I wasn’t induced and my second I was induced and it was 12 hours.... but I think the pain was all bad it didn’t make a difference
