Hey moms! I was born with COPD (lung disease) and my doctor said she is unsure of how my pregnancy will be with my breathing. I have medications for it and she confirmed that they are safe to take while I’m pregnant but I wanted to see if any of you have had asthma or lung disease while pregnant and if it affected you in anyway I’m just nervous that it’s going to impact my breathing and back as I get bigger. TIA

I have severe asthma and wicked alergies that effect it. The last month has been super hard on my lungs with all the allergens I live around. It feels like everything is effecting me 10x more than usual. I pretty much rely on inhalers and nebulizer treatments and try to get through it. Its crappy that pregnancy compromises your immune system and makes things harder than it already is.

@xchas, ugh that’s awful I’m so so sorry you have to go through that, I have bad allergies to many things as well and I have been using my inhaler a lot more lately and I feel like my back and chest get tight and uncomfortable at times it’s awful and makes me feel so crappy and run down 😔
