First time mom here needing advice on carseat stuff ... So my son is five months old and I know soon he's gonna out grow his carseat because it just looks tiny. What car seat did you mom's use and what age did y'all have to switch them ? Cus I know by one year old this one is gonna be small for him.
I think I got confused with your comment I thought you were saying you were going to have a problem keeping him rear facing lo
@mommysbabies well some of those big car seats are still rear facing and also forward facing. I wouldn't put him forward until it's time anyway.
Yeah most states though require rear facing till 2 because it’s safer just make sure to check your states laws on it
@mommysbabies my son was 24 inches tall at his 4 month check up. So I know I'ma have the issue with him being long lol
@muvamia that looks nice and comfortable. My son is on the slim side but very long. I'm thinking another two months and I'll switch it I wiill consider this one !!
We got the Mickey Mouse rear and forward facing car seat I want to say around six months my daughter has the same one but hers is minie mouse
I have to switch soon too. She's dainty but is long and her infant seat goes to 29". He checkup at 6 months she was 26.5". She's almost 9 months now. It's been 13 years since I've shopped for bigger car seats. Everything's changed since my last child. I'm clueless. Lol
Yeah. We got the seat just before Black Friday because it was almost $150 off. For a while we just left the infant seat in the car and took him out, but it got annoying as it's not really built for that....My sister just switched her son out of the infant seat, and he's almost 10m.
Yeah that's what I feel too.. like I'm over here carrying this infant carseat but it's so heavy. I'm thinking like fuck it switch it and then just leave it in the car and rather carry him only out of it. I'll look into it tho , I'll also wait a lil longer like maybe til January.
Yeah compared to most kids he still in 12 months clothes but maybe it's his infant carseat it goes up to 30 pounds
