Has anyone else had any troubles with their employers and them making you rearrange antenatal appointments? Need advice please x

@lukesmummy2016 she told me to make it at the beginning or end of any day pr any time on a friday as its the quitest and when i do she still gets me to change it x
I also gave a list of all my appointments regarding pregnancy whetger it scans. Midwife appointments. Etc. So she has it and cant be shocked when you say you got to go lol
I work in a nursery and my life was made very difficult. I used to say to my manager what's easiest to not have me in for Monday afternoon Thursday morning. I'd book for whichever Was easiest and she'd give me that morning/afternoon off. Maybe try asking her in advance it may help. Remember she is just as stressed as you. Running a nursery isn't easy xx
As above said. They cannot make you change your appointments. I work in a nursery and as much as it's an inconvienence to them. By law they have to honour and pay you for any pregnancy related appointments. Simple as.
Your employer can not make you work or change any appointments, they also still have to pay you for any antenatal appointments that may fall on a day you are supposed to be working. If you are working on the same day of that appointment, then you would go to the appointment and then return to work. You are pretty much immune to any discipline at work whilst pregnant and they have to honour any appointments you may have x
It does and i also have to have physio and she is making that difficult as well. Its just stress that is not needed x
Oh sorry. well thats bad she making you change that when they are given and your right have no say over. It puts you in a difficult position.
My midwife appointments are always on a tuesday or wednesday which are the 2 busiest days and i make them for first thing in the morning. But its my scan she is trying to make me change and i had no say over my scan day x
Its hard for me to as i work in a care home so it leaves them short. But they shouldnt be making you chanhe apointments. Are you appointments on a set day all the time (mine is always on a thursday) if so could you possibly change a day you work somrthing ?x
Everything i have read says that but she keeps telling me to change it. I work in a nursery which makes it harder so i cant just walk out for my appointment x
I go to work then leave for appointment then return to work.
