My son is 6 months old, and weighs 16.4 lbs and is 26.5 inches tall. I have the baby trend pyramid car seat, that I use with a base. His feet hang out of the bottom from his ankles down. My question is, is he too big for his car seat? Is it safe for his feet to hang out of his car seat? Do I need to move him to a convertible car seat (still rear facing of course). And also, which convertible car seat do you recommend? Thanks ladies!

I think its how safe you feel about him been on the car seat, I know babies are supposed to be facing back until they 2 years old but I feel way batter having him facing me maybe its just me freaking out over anything lol. I changed his car seat when he was 6 months too

Girl Lmao your baby can't be on the car seat no mas lol if he's feet hang it can be harmful if you would to get in a car accident he can break his little feet, my doctor recommended me to by the 3in 1 car seat and its amazing I love it so does my son and it gives me more relive when I can see what's my son doing or if he's okay

So I just learned that in my kids school district (my kids aren't in school yet my oldest will be starting kindergarten next September) there are twin boys who identify as girls.
