TMI but when does the bleeding stop and when does my uterus go back to normal size because I still feel it in my stomach

Bleeding is different for everyone, I bled for 2 weeks. It typically takes 6 weeks for your uterus to completely close which is why we have a postpartum visit at 6 weeks to make sure you’re closed up and healing properly.

@mommiesaremagical14, well I was bleeding for like a week then it went to this like brown color then yesterday it was pink and today very red and clot like so I’m confused like is it my regular period starting?

@jasiahsmom I had a C-section too. Theres no more or less bleeding comparing C-section or vaginal birth. It all depends on how long it takes the uterus to heal. Some may only bleed a week others a month and so on.

@mommiesaremagical14, omg no and I had a Csection so I didn’t think I would bleed for that long tbh

The time length of bleeding is different for everyone. I think it's typically around 1 - 2 months but it can also depends on your activity if you do too much and strain yourself you could cause it to last longer.
