So me and my man have a baby but aren't married. We have been together for 8 yrs and have lived together for 4 years so it's like we are! Honestly I would marry him tomorrow if he would just do it! Anywho, when people talk about Me, Jeremiah and Tidus (our son) and they call Jeremiah my husband, I don't correct them! Is that bad?! I feel like it's more complicated to explain all of this every time! What do y'all think? Should I correct them?

My SO and I have been together for 6 years and have lived together for 5 years. People call him my husband all the time too. I don't correct them. I myself sometimes refer to him as my husband.

I don't correct people. My boyfriend and I are expecting number two. We don't refer to each other as husband and wife. But neither correct people when they say it. It's just easier than explaining.
