Moms with boys when did your child start talking at what age?

Probably 1 and a half, maybe closer to 2 I don’t remember exactly but it was probably closer to 2

Mine started after a year. But mine was also diagnosed with autism at 4. I didnt know what was wrong i just thought he has a speech problem

w@mama_kat89, what were some signs you noticed before he was diagnosed with autism?

@barefootmom he repeated alot. Like words i said or what he wanted. He jumped alot and he use to hand flap

@mama_kat89, I'm concerned my 17 mo boy been acting bad lots of screaming bangs his head on wall sometimes or hits his head with hands hopefully its just the terrible twos stage or teething and will pass

@barefootmom you can talk to your pediatrician and they can evaluate him. He is old enough

@barefootmom they want me to evaluate the baby at 18 month. I dont think he has autism but since my oldest does they wanna check

@barefootmom he might be acting out becaise of the baby but if you have concerns talk to his dr. I wish i could of known sooner with my son but like i said i thought he was just being a toddler and he was a late bloomer so i just thought eventually he will talk better and such
