@mum2sky im okay, went to view a flat for me, partner and baby but need a guarantor so can't get it xx

@kimberley18597 I've been having the same problem. Most places you need one now and they want someone who earns a ridiculous amount. I hope you find something soon x

@kimberley18597 it is. I understand they want a back up plan but most people don't know someone who earns 40k a year it's not fair :( x

@kimberley18597 I know exactly how you feel. Maybe look on gumtree if you haven't already for a private landlord they are normally more lenient x

We found our house on gumtree and the landlord only wanted a guarantor but not necessarily someone who earns over £40k a year xx

@kimberley18597 have you got a deposit together already? Sometimes if going private that can be a way to entice them to have you if you have the dollar upfront already.

Have you tried rightmove I tried before I moved in with oh's mum and not many seemed to want one at that time :) x

@kimberley18597 took us ages to find our first place. Then we just dropped on one that was on gumtree, and they took us cause we had deposit and first month's rent ready.

Were with belvoir for our second property and we had to get a guarantor with over £40k, luckily we found someone in family. But it is alot harder with a letting agency 👎

@beffgoude yeah sadly there's nothing near me on Gumtree so it's either private or council xxx
