Has anyone had preeclampsia?

@swann.khadijah, yes it can. But I was diagnosed with High blood pressure at 15 my father has it. Your doctor with check you at first visit after baby's arrival

@swann.khadijah, yes, mine went away when I gave birth. I think it usually does, although I have heard of people getting it after they deliver so you would have to ask your dr.

Yup I was diagnosed with both previous pregnancies. I also have high blood pressure regularly I got diagnosed at age 15. Been on meds. It's horrible 😩. I swelled up with my second baby towards the end I gained 10 pounds in one week from water retention. I have migraines almost every single day very

I was 37 weeks when I got it and they just induced me.

Your dr will need to test you. They will see if you have protein in your urine. @swann.khadijah,

@elenalee, oh man. My pressure was a little high but it was because I have bad road rage when I sat down and relaxed it went down. But they asked me if I had nausea a headache and stomach pain and I have all of those today but how do I know if it’s preeclampsia or just pregnancy? Lol

@swann.khadijah I got very swollen like painfully in my legs and hands and I was getting migraines frequently.

Yes... I was really swollen.

@ohbabybaby88, did you recognize other symptoms besides high blood pressure?
