So I went to ER and after the most uncomfortable pelvic exam EVER, they told me that my cervix is very thick and very high and tilted. None of which my doc has ever told me. What does this mean for me?
Tilted if I am not mistaken means it hasn’t came down. Unless they mean something else.
Not sure about tilted, but thick and high means you're not effaced at all and it's not lowering to get ready for your baby to be born. Basically you're just not dilated. And cervix are thick and high throughout all of pregnancy, until the end
No baby no time soon, lol. But it can change quickly. When pregnant with my son the doctor told me the exact same thing. I was scheduled to get induced that following Friday, went in that morning and was already 5cm. So there was no need for an induction!
