The arm will probably hurt more... Depends if your hip is more fatty then your arm... Less fat it'll probably hurt more

@laywells, they dont ask to make a muscle but sometimes arm tenses up which is why it would hurt

@reevesh15, yes the did switch sides I was due for my left hip so she did my left arm because of what I was wearing

@ssbx3, no I didn’t make a muscle , she didn’t tell me to but I had on a dress and stockings so she did it on my arm to avoid me having to undress I regret it . I usually have it in my hip area

If it hurts did you make a muscle?? It’s probably just very sore. My arm is like that for like a a day or 2 after I get the shot on my arm. And they’re supposed to alternate when you go back to get it but don’t really have too. I use to be in pain when I got the shot I couldn’t move my arm and such because I made a muscle. But it usually happens depending on how fast they do the shot.

I thought depo goes in your lower back upper butt area? That's where they were doing mine... Mine use to hurt bad for a day and I was sore for a week or so... Not sure. They should switch sides every time you get the shot.
