My daughter has been mostly on formula the past month. I was breastfeeding and supplementing at first but then she stopped latching because she wanted the bottle instead so I started giving it to her in the bottle. I was pumping as often as I could, but with having a 22 month old and a new born it was hard for me to do it every two hours so my milk supply really went down. I’ve been taking fenugreek and mothers milk tea, bought an electric pump & have been pumping every few hours to try and get my milk supply up. Does anyone have any other suggestions? I really want my daughter to mainly be on breast milk.
Any Mom’s & FTM’s interested in breastfeeding? I have created a support group. Here’s the link! Feel free to join and inquire about whatever you may be curious about as far as breastfeeding! I look forward to seeing you guys..
** Also looking for moms that have or is currently breastfeeding for support! Thanks !

I would recommend hiring a lactation consultant. My daughter had a very hard time latching and my lactation consultant worked with me and checked in with me to help me develop short and long term solutions. Eventually my daughter latched great and we worked it out. It was a good thing too because electric or manual I just don’t respond well to the pump. My daughter is off the charts on growth, but I pump almost nothing.
@aliciavasquez13, while the pump stimulates more milk to come its artificial and just not the same as how well ur baby can work. Crazy our bodies work together. Brewers yeast is suppose to help it taste so bad in powder form but they say it's stronger I couldn't hardly handle it I would get pull form. Also drink tons of water busy most important keep ur baby at ur boob 24/7 like as often as u can she will eventually latch and become a pro even if she is just suckling it don't matter ur body knows and will recognize it need to make more milk. U have to b her paci until things regulate and your stash is stable. Lastly I might sound nuts but I believe it smell ur baby often before u latch her snuggle her and smell her your body just knows

took me 10 minutes to pump this from both breast after feeding Ethan for 25 minutes. My milk supply is going crazy yesterday I pumped 8 bottles my milk stash is going to be great
My supply is low and I have to go out of town next Sunday. I have tried mother's milk tea and pumping every two hours as well as drinking tons of water. What can I do ? I know I won't make enough milk by then!
My breast are heavy and full with milk but when I squeeze nothing comes out and when I try to pump nothing is pumped into the breast pump its like I have milk but its stuck and wont come out...any tips or help on this.. i really would like to breastfeed my daughter....
Breastfeeding moms: so I am planning on going on a 3 day vacation with my hubby & a bunch of friends to Catalina in May, (my baby won't be going with us) and I do not wanna be pumping and dumping every 2 hours out there.. so if I don't pump or breastfeed for 3-4 days, will my milk supply drop significantly? 😩😩 & I don't know how I'm gonna deal with the engorgement pain if I can't find time to pump out there.
So I've been drinking a ton of water since I was brought up to my room and I've been pumping every 2 hours but I'm not pumping anything. Feeling really discouraged. The nursery isn't giving babygirl any formula as they have her hooked up to an IV but Im already feeling like a failure :(
Try getting her to latch again. Fenugreek and mmt can have a adverse effect.. drink plenty of water, oatmeal and spinach helps too
