I got the iud in august and I literally don’t have sex cause it’s really painful is that normal ?

@eryka616, the doctor said it wouldn’t work for me cause I take seizure medication and that can counter react to the pills and make the pills not work at all

@babyofmine, the pill has never failed me and I used to be forgetful so I set an alarm so I took it every day at the same time now I don’t have the alarm I just take it before bed

@eryka616, this is why I hate birth control I only got it cause I really can’t do it with another baby like I live in a room with a baby and two dogs I can’t do it with another one until I get my own place

One of my friends is getting hers removed for that same issue and the doctor said it happens a lot

No that’s not normal. I had my iud and couldn’t have sex it was way too painful for me and him. It turned out that my iud moved and when I went to go take it it out they said they couldn’t find it so I have to get a ultrasound sound. Call your doctor and set up and appointment ASAP so they can fix it before it’s lost somewhere like me
