Too itchy and completely uncomfortable to sleep :( I kinda just wanna... cry.
@briimoe, it took a good four to five days for it to go away and I made it to 39 weeks with my second
@ecahanes, sorry I meant second baby not delivery 😬😬
@ecahanes, did you go full term with your second delivery?? And how long after until the itching stopped??
@ecahanes, see and I’ve been itching for a while but I didn’t realize it was a “thing” until I posted it on here. And I was like oh maybe I should tell my dr. I’ve never heard of it or heard of anyone being itchy so I thought it was just me! But im glad other moms told me about it. I wonder if she’s gunna have me deliver early if I have it? It’s scary to think of but like I said whatever is best for the baby I will do!
@briimoe, yes I wish I would have known I told my doctor after delivery because I was super itchy after (it's even worse after delivery) and so they tested me and it came back positive. I hope it goes ok I'm sure you will be just fine. My second delivery I had it but luckily everything was fine
@ecahanes, oh no!!! :( I’m kinda thinking that’s what I have but I don’t wanna stress about it. I don’t have itchy palms or itchy feet. Just kinda everywhere else. But, I’ve let her know and I’m confident that she’ll do what’s best for the baby.. but I’m glad you told me this! Because I can ask her about it if I get diagnosed with cholestasis.
@briimoe, well they better figure it out my doctor said if he would have know he definitely would have had me deliver at 37 weeks
It could be cholestasis I had that with both mine and didn't know until after but it can cause complications during delivery . Like pooping before birth. My first did that and his heart rate was dropping too
@ecahanes, I have told her, I’m just waiting for my test results to come back 😩 it’s gotten worse since I’ve told her.. now I actually can’t sleep because of it. 😔
@ecahanes, oh ok ok well, I’m practically there. We will see what my dr decides!
