So where I live they say you aren't suppose to forward face till 2 years old. I know he's safer rear facing but he legit has no leg room. I hate to turn him when he's technically not suppose to be but he certainly isn't going to make it to 2 rear facing. Probably won't for a month longer. I think I'm going to just wait till he's proper height and weight ( which he might already be) for the seat to be forward facing then turn him. :/ any suggestions? His dad forward faces him because of leg room issues and most people I know who post pictures of there babies in the car are forward facing too now that they are one and probably cause of leg room issues.

I think as long as he is tall and big enough as the weight and height standards on the car seat state, then you’ll be fine hopefully.

We had to forward face a little early because of no room in the rear facing position. My poor kids legs were being smushed in the seat. My boys are very tall too. They would cry because it hurt their legs.

Please please please don’t forward face him before 2 it just isn’t safe. I’d rather have my daughter break her leg than be internally decapitated from an accident. It has nothing to do with size it has to do with age and the bones are not developed until 2 and not even then but it saves plenty of kids lives being rear facing.

@eryka616, I know it's more safe and I've even told his dad not to forward face but he literally has no where for his legs! And idk what to do :/ his chair reclines but it's really hard to install it when it's reclined.

@missjess, he can always fold his legs or cross them I know it may seem uncomfortable but it’s not to them lol he’s used to sitting rear facing so he doesn’t know anything different

@eryka616, I guess I'll see how it goes and maybe I can get a good install with it reclined. I really don't wAnt him forward facing God forbid something happened

@eryka616, I know 😫 he's just going to have be scrunched. I want him as safe as possible. I've told his dad not too but I doubt he's switched back to rear 😒
