Poor little guy has 2 bottom teeth coming in right now. He got a fever last night of 99.9 under his arm. It went down to normal after Tylenol. Woke up at 4am to feed and it was back up to 101.4 (temporal). I'm hoping it doesn't continue to keep rising. 😢
Other than the fever and being somewhat fussy he seems normal though.
Idk I just found an article that says the standard is oral temp and to correct other methods to the oral equivalent you add 1 for armpit & forehead, and subtract 1 for rectal & ear...
And the forehead. The forehead is less accurate then the armpit
But either way his temp came down within 30 minutes with the Tylenol. And he seems much better now that we're up for the day. Playing with toys and such.
@sawyersmom I thought you only added the 1 degree for axial (underarm)?
(Help) 1yr old with a fever
My 1yr old son has a fever of 102 F, he is still eating and drinking normal. He is smily and acting normal.

My 3 year olds fingertips are red and peeling. Anyone had this happen to their child? He has no other symptoms at all. When I google one of the main things that comes up is Kawasaki disease but he has no fever. He’s his normal happy self. Just wondering why his fingers are like this.
My baby was on enfamil gentlease but he was throwing up with it so they switched him to enfamil nutramigen and hes throwing up a ton more with it like alot hes been on it since 9/20 what should i do?
If his temp keeps going up im Gonna just call the nurse advice line
