Okay can someone please help me settle something.. So my cousin is about 6 weeks pregnant and she was calling me freaking out because she was around her cats litter box when they went pee and they moved the litter around, (boxes have lids) now she thinks this is going to harm the baby or make her have a miscarriage... is this true? Wouldn't she actually have to change the litter and be right there for it to affect anything??

@cmsolberg92 yeah because you can still smell them. One of the first things a dr usually tells a woman when they find out they're pregnant is to stay away from litter boxes.

@danielswifey i believe her littler boxes are in the back entry way by the door they come in and out of, should she avoid that area and use the front door?
My sister looked into it (has 3 cats) and it's usually only if your cats are outdoor cats and eat actual meat. Indoor cats litter usually aren't dangerous, but she should still change the litter with gloves and always wash her hands really well.
Being around it just once isn't going to hurt her but she needs to try and stay away from it in the future. The ammonia smell from the cats urine is what's bad for the baby.

I just absolutely love some women on here! Some woman wants to write on another women's post telling her she shouldn't be having sex at all in the beginning of pregnancy. I didn't know she was her doctor. Then she wants to tell me that the first trimester is only 1-9 weeks pregnant. And she lost her baby at 4 weeks pregnant due to sex. Like sweetie that's your period starting!
I love how I repeatedly told my father in law not to let my daughter root through the toy box because she doesn’t want anything out of it anyway and he keeps picking her up and taking her to the toy box no matter how many times I tell her no and tell him she doesn’t even want anything out of there anyway. my baby daddy's ex wife works at the hospital I'm having my daughter she is just a cleaning lady she tell me they let her move the babies around I'm scared this women will take my baby she even tells me if I have my baby early she could see her ever day .. my doctor only delivers at this hospital I don't know what to do . this is why I don't want to have my baby early ..

Did anyone see that video a dad posted on his daughters FB page? He saw a post she made where she bashed her parents and cursed them, called them lazy and told them they should pay her for stuff she did around the house... So he called her out on it and put the video on her page!! Sorry if I missed a post already about this already, but I just saw the video and IT WAS AWESOME!!! Hahahhaa!
Like I said, she'll be fine as long as she doesn't clean them. She's fine if she happens to be near them for a little bit like maybe coming in through the door. But if she is that paranoid, she shouldn't have cats. 🤷♀️ her doctor will tell her the same thing and I have a litter box in my small apartment and we are all fine 😊
