Has anyone used bath wash for new baby midwife said water but everyone knows that doesn't clean you

I used to use coconut oil occassionnally otherwise just water. Babies don't need soaps etc. Their skin is so sensitive. I didn't start using baby soaps like dove until they were older babies.

I didn’t use anything for months, their skin is so delicate to begin with I personally wouldn’t take any chances

Yeah I just used water lol she didn't like it xx

I've used Johnson's bubble bath from day 1 and it's never affected him his skins perfect x

Can I ask how often you all bathed your newborns??x

@hayleyf first time tonight for me midwife at hospital said Friday evening...I bathed my son every night..but think this time every other nighy till she bit older xx

they say for the first week or so you don't need to bath your baby as they remain clean minus obviously dirty nappies haha and then it's suggest every 3 days without soaps until their about 2 months 😊 different methods work for each of us though I guess!x

@sjbeanie yeah true can also wipe over don't need a bath every night really xx
