The health department could’ve been wrong. You’re probably 7 weeks & not 14. If you were 14 you’d def be able to hear a strong heartbeat

@kartersmommyy what about at the doctor. Should they be able to find something Tuesday. I should be 8 weeks. An they want me to come back in for another ultrasound

@deedeehoneycutt98 Wow DHEC is something. But at 7 weeks a heartbeat can be hard to hear sometimes in most cases if the doctor can't hear a loud heartbeat they do a vaginal ultrasound to make sure they give you an accurate answer on your baby's development.

@deedeehoneycutt98, you should be able to see baby’s heartbeat on the ultrasound & they’ll be able to measure the baby to see how far along you really are. By 8 weeks you’ll definitely be able to see baby’s little heart beat!

@lovely.angee they did a vaginal ultrasound and still only found a faint heartbeat. Bit they want me come back Tuesday and look again. Does that sound normal

@deedeehoneycutt98 I honestly think it is normal. Don't stress it. It will be ok. Every pregnancy is different. If you were far in pregnancy it would be concerning but 7 weeks is very early still. Tuesday you will have good news. 😊😊😊 Let's think positive!
